Ziaraat of Imam Ali (as) to be
recited on
Sunday |

Peace
be on the Tree (inseparably tied up with) of prophet
hood, tall and strong trunk (mainstay) of "Bani
Hashim" (the family) pregnant and fertile with
prophethood, |
السَّلاَمُ
عَلَى الشَّجَرَةِ النَّبَوِيَّةِ وَ الدَّوْحَةِ
الْهَاشِمِيَّةِ الْمُضِيئَةِ الْمُثْمِرَةِ
بِالنُّبُوَّة |
|
refined and blossomed with Imamat: (on account of)
you being the colleague of Adam and Nooh, peace be
on them both. |
الْمُونِقَةِ
(الْمُونِعَةِ) بِالْإِمَامَةِ وَ عَلَى ضَجِيعَيْكَ
آدَمَ وَ نُوحٍ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلاَم |
|
Peace
be on you, and your pure and pious children. |
السَّلاَمُ
عَلَيْكَ وَ عَلَى أَهْلِ بَيْتِكَ الطَّيِّبِينَ
الطَّاهِرِين |
|
Peace
be on you, and on the Angels who stand (around you)
at your beck and call, and, ever alert, move about
near your resting place. |
السَّلاَمُ
عَلَيْكَ وَ عَلَى الْمَلاَئِكَةِ الْمُحْدِقِينَ بِكَ
وَ الْحَافِّينَ بِقَبْرِك |
|
O
Mawlaa! O Ameer Al Momineen! Today is Sunday, your
day, refers to you, and I, in its hours, take refuge
with you, seek your nearness, |
يَا
مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ هَذَا يَوْمُ
الْأَحَدِ وَ هُوَ يَوْمُكَ وَ بِاسْمِكَ وَ أَنَا
ضَيْفُكَ فِيهِ وَ جَارُك |
|
therefore make me feel at home. O Mawlaa! take me in
under your shelter because you are very kind, love
to be hospitable, chosen and assigned to give asylum
and refuge, |
فَأَضِفْنِي
يَا مَوْلاَيَ وَ أَجِرْنِي فَإِنَّكَ كَرِيمٌ تُحِبُّ
الضِّيَافَةَ وَ مَأْمُورٌ بِالْإِجَارَة |
|
therefore do that for which I have come unto you in
this hour, and have turned to you, in the name and
for the sake of your belief, and your children's
belief, in Allah, and the status He has assigned to
you (all), |
فَافْعَلْ
مَا رَغِبْتُ إِلَيْكَ فِيهِ وَ رَجَوْتُهُ مِنْكَ
بِمَنْزِلَتِكَ وَ آلِ بَيْتِكَ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَ
مَنْزِلَتِهِ عِنْدَكُم |
|
for
the sake of your brother (cousin), the Messenger of
Allah, blessings of Allah be on him and on his
children and peace be on them all. |
وَ بِحَقِّ
ابْنِ عَمِّكَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ
وَ آلِهِ وَ سَلَّمَ وَ عَلَيْهِمْ (عَلَيْكُمْ)
أَجْمَعِين |

Bismillaahir-Rahmaanir-Raheem. Allaahumma Swalli
Alaa Muhammadin Wa Aali Muhammad. Assalaamu
Alash-Shajaratin-Nubuwwati Wad-Dawhatil
Haashimiyyati Al Mudhwee’atil Muthmirati Bin-Nubuwwatil
Mooniqati Bil Imaamati Wa Alaa Dhwajee’ayka Aadama
Wa Noohin Alayhimas-Salaam. Assalaamu Alayka Wa Alaa
Ahlibaytikat-Twayyibeena-Twaahireen. Assalaamu
Alayka Wa Alal Malaaikatil Mukhdiqeena Bika Wal
Haaffeena Bi Qabrika Yaa Mawlaaya Yaa Ameeral
Mu’mineena Haadha Yawmul Ahadi Wa Huwa Yawmuka Wa
Bismika Wa Anaa Dhayfuka Feehi Wa Jaaruka Fa
Adhifnee Yaa Mawlaaya Wa Ajirnee Fa Innaka Kareemun
Tuhibbudh-Dhiyaafata Wa Ma’amoorun Bil Ijaarati
Faf’al Maa Raghibtu Ilayka Feehi Wa Rajawtuhu Minka
Bi Manzilatika Wa Aali Baytika Indallaahi Wa
Manzilatihi Indakum Wa Bi Haqqi Ibni Ammika
Rasoolillaahi Swallallaahu Alayhi Wa Aalihi Wa
Sallama Wa Alaykum Wa Alayhim Ajmaeen |
